Experimental Short Documentary, OV French with English Subtitles, AT 2026, 08’02”
A barricade is erected and dismantled. The riots in Nouméa, the capital of New Caledonia, an overseas territory of France in the South Pacific, frame the events.
A young man asks about his place in the colonial structure and memory of France. He tells, questions, scrutinises, searches and struggles with his history and the history of the place into which he was born as a white man.
